I love participating in Cheryl’s end of the year “best of” party and discovering what were the popular posts for the year (and I am late, but posting anyway). It is a nice way to look over how the year looked on my blog. I decided for simplicity sake, to go with the most views. There is always a surprise here, so lets get to it!

My Post Peaks and Valley was the front runner. Now, I thought it might be the post that came in second, but it wasn’t. I really loved this quilt and it is in a new, loving home, a fellow church member who fell in love with it. The Carolyn Friedlander fabrics really made my hearts and hers, too, so I am glad she is enjoying it. I believe it was boosted by the number 2 slot, which was not a suprise to me.
2. Flower Power

The post with the second most views is the Villa Rosa Blog Hop, Flower Power. I really love this hop and love creating a fun quilt for it. The fabric is so much fun and so many people love it.
3. Tips and Tutorials: Auditioning a Quilt Design

Well, it is ironic that I have decided to retire Tips and Tutorials and 2 of them appear in the top view posts. I will continue to post tips and tutorials, but just not as a formal linky party. I love auditioning quilt designs and apparently more of you liked learning about!
4. Round 6 of the Stay at Home Round Robin

This post, Round 6, for last years Stay at Home Round Robin was a winner in views. This was my prompt, too, so that is pretty exciting that this was post had so many views. I liked explaining the many ways you could use letters or numbers in your quilt.
5. Tips and Tutorials – Borders and Blocks and EQ8

The last post you will see is one about using EQ8 and some of the different border options when using blocks. This was during our Stay at Home Round Robin (SAHRR) and helpful to some who may not have explored this in EQ for planning quilts.

Coming Up on the Blog
You will see more about SAHRR in the next few weeks. We officially begin on January 13th. I have one baby quilt on the frame and another will be put together this week, and maybe on the frame before the week is out.

I love this post. So nice to see what others enjoy as well! Have a wonderful week!
Fun to read about your blog year, Kathleen, and see those quilts again!
You have done such a wide variety of projects!
I love it when quilts find the perfect home, like your Peaks and Valleys quilt. Flower Power is such a striking quilt, it’s fun to get to see it again here, too. Thank you for hosting the Tips and Tutorials linkup for so many years!
So fun to see the quilts again!
It’s always interesting to see how the numbers shake out, isn’t it? You wrote some really great posts there, Kathleen. Here’s hoping you have another successful year in 2025!
I didn’t participate in Cheryl’s linky this year; should have a look though to see what was the most viewed. I have a suspicion it may be the VRD hop. Glad the #1 Best of is in such a good home!
It’s so neat that you have this fun panel that goes with so many colors that you probably already have in your stash.
