Island Batik is the most fabulous fabric to work with. Not only does it carry a wonderful, vibrant color line, the fabrics coordinate well with each other. I love working with baticks, since they press so well, and hold their shape. This is truly a wonderful fabric and I know you are going to love any project that you make.

I have been thrilled to be an ambassador and agree – their fabric is awesome!

Batiks have such wonderful painterly colors that make it so easy to blend, so they make me feel more of an artist when I use them.

Painterly is a great way to describe them!

I’m really looking forward to this blog hop…as I do all of the Island Batiks hops! I would describe Island Batik fabrics as color-rich fabrics with unique designs and collections that are all so different, yet they mingle so well together! You really have to see them to believe it….I love them all!

The blog hops are fun. This is the second where not all ambassadors are in the hop and it feels a little more relaxed. I do have another project to come up with, using “tools of the trade”, but it will be fun to watch what comes up.

Batiks are a joy to sew with. Colors you might not otherwise use seem to blend well together. The fabric does not ravel, or stretch out of shape so piecing is easy.

I love the way batiks hold their shape, too!

Hi Kathleen! I went through the list twice, and I don’t see your name?? What day do you get to participate in the hop? I enjoy using IB fabrics. The colors are always rich and true, and batiks are crisp. They are nice to sew with, and one of my favorite things is that there isn’t a wrong side. I’m just going to be starting a Fall table runner using some Island Batik fabulous fabrics. ~smile~ Roseanne

Oh, not all of us are in this one. Like last one, only some of us are doing it, so my big one this half was in August. With so many, it was nice to have half on for August and half for now! I so agree about how much fun they are to sew with. I had to de-thread my purple sweater before dinner from sewing with non-batiks…it was a crazy amount of thread.
