PhD in 2020

I did it!!!!. I have Projects Half Done that are no more…12 of them.

Here they all are in a little slide show:

And, then there is the insistence on finishing those things you start, and here they are in reverse order of finish.

That totals 33 projects finished in 2020. I am so very pleased. There was one that was dropped from this list, my cousin’s quilt. I require some fabric and batting to finish, and won’t be at a quilt store for a few weeks. It will be done in early 2021 and there are fewer than 6 real ufos lurking. I have a few projects/fabric collections that may turn into something but I am not feeling pressured by them. All is good. It is a new year, and a new start!

Many thanks to Gail of Quilting Gail for running this. You can participate in 2021’s PhD Program (information here). I have to admit I am pretty happy with what my list looks like.

Woot! Woot! My favourite of them all (bet you know which one) is the Kaleidoscope runner, at which I stared, mesmerized for oh at least a solid minute! mmmmmmm. Second is the starfish runner, because I love all things ocean and lake 🙂 I may, emphasis on may, do this this year….heaven knows I have *cough* a few PHDs…

I thought I was prolific with 20 quilts in 2020, keeping in mind that I am a hobby quilter and work full-time. But 33!!! WOW, Kathleen, that is absolutely impressive. Wishing you continued creativity in 2020. Hugs and Best Wishes.
