Welcome to the March edition of Tips and Tutorials on the 22nd #TTot22. February was a little slow, after the great response in January. I know I have been dragging, but spring is bringing new life and blossoms to the world; let’s bring the same to our quilting.
Before we get to my tutorial, take a look at last month’s links:
Brenda, who blogs at Songbird Designs, has a great slide show on how to web a block. Check it out here.

Carol, who blogs at QuiltSchmilt has a fun tutorial on making 4 QSTs (Quarter Square Triangles) from 2 4 patches. Check it out here.

In case you didn’t know, if you have missed some past #TTot22, you can check them out in the tab at the top of my page or on my Pinterest board.

My tip or tutorial this month is for the Wedding Ring Block that I have been making for the RSC2022 (rainbow scrap challenge). I have enjoyed this block, many users commented on it, so I decided to share it with you. Another fun fact, is I use the webbing technique, described by Brenda last month. It is perfect for a block like this with many pieces that can “go the wrong way”. There are directions for webbing in my instructions.

Thanks for the tutorial for the RSC block you’ve been making, Kathleen! I’m a BIG fan of using bonus HSTs and have a set that might work great for a sample block.
I’m sorry I missed the linkup last moth (I was on an internet / social media vacation), but I’m looking forward to seeing what everyone has to share this month. Plus I get the bonus of seeing what you feature in your post this month with fresh eyes. Thanks!
Thanks, Kathleen! I love that Wedding Ring block. Thanks for the tutorial. I always enjoy seeing all the tips and tricks each month.
Thank you for sharing, Kathleen! 🙂
Hi Kathleen! I think your RSC block is so pretty. The bonus is that it is easy but doesn’t look it! I have a collection of HSTs that are leftover from various projects. I might have to make a sample block. Thanks so much for the tutorial! {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne
Great block for the RSC, Kathleen!!!
Pretty block. Thank you for the tutorial also.
Hi Kathleen. Thank you for the sweet little block pattern and for featuring my qst’s tutorial. I have nothing for this month due to no blog writing but hope that I can get back at it soon.
I still want to make that block, thanks for the reminder and tutorial
Hi Kathleen, another interesting month of tips. I found a post that had lots of learning (that I wasn’t particularly looking for 🙂 ) Thanks for the link up.
