Here we are at the end of the second segment with block 8. Our designer this week is Laura from SLice of PI Quilting. Laura has outdone herself with this destination. This block has everything I love about lakes – blue water and gorgeous pine trees. By the way, this has to be my new favorite way to make pine trees!

Segment 2 is done and we are over two-thirds of the way through the quilt along. That means next week is a skip and you need to have 4 finished blocks to participate in the drawing for the segment 2 prizes!
