This is a two-for blog. I have been a bit negligent in writing so, I am combining a couple of things – a finished quilt and 2 giveaways (old and new).

First up is the second International Sisters quilt. The first one, “International Sister Numero Uno”, you can read all about here. Now, let’s visit with “International sister Numero Dos”.

I loved putting them together and seeing the disparate blocks finding a way to work with each other. This block, does have Sister Butterfly among them; I think my favorite in this group. Although, Hermosa Tartan (plaid) is surely another favorite. The only difference is that I used Cotton Quilter’s Dream Batting Request. This quilt is going to Little Lambs, too, through the Hands 2 Help drive.

Isn’t this backing fun? I was given this by a good friend, so I am always pleased when these gifts get into charity quilts…it feels like doubling the good will in the quilt.

Now, about giveaways. My giveaway winner for the blog hop was Bonnie and she should get her prize today. I hope she likes it.

But, the giving doesn’t stop! There are 6 leftover blocks from this quilt along with my sisters. If you would like to make a sisters quilt, please tell me in the comments that you would like to make this and you will be entered for the drawing. I won’t pick a winner until I return from a little trip seeing family (haven’t seen since 12/2019), probably selecting Monday, June 7.
Coming Up on the Blog:

Your Sisters quilts are so pretty! I would love to make my own. With all the violence and hate going on in the world today, this is something that I could do to promote peace and acceptance. Thank you for this opportunity.

Like the sisters block. Have 2made with aboriginal fabrics but would be great to have an assortment of ethnic people.
