I am so pleased to be participating in the Partners in Design Holidays Gifts to You blog hop. This project is near and dear to my heart. I go crazy during the day looking for my phone and try to always have something with pockets – but then I get too hot and take the jacket or vest off and then my phone is gone.

So, I thought I would come up with a pretty quick gift for you! So, there was some ulterior motive, but I am pretty pleased with the result. I have a nice new apron and you or one of your loved ones will too!

I wanted it to be fast, but pretty. Two fabrics sewn together, bring the backing up to the front, add a tie and decide how many pockets….should be a breeze. No binding is required. I used this fun woven ribbon I had saved. It was in 3 pieces, but a few seams and I had plenty to become the tie.

You will be taken to my store which allows me to keep track of what I am “selling”. If you don’t receive an email after you checkout, it is likely you entered your email incorrectly. If that is the case, just please reenter; I try to resolve misspellings or obvious mistakes, but often I am not able to do so.

I am sure you will enjoy this apron or the lucky recipient will. And, if you are looking for more quick makes, here is the list of gifts from all the designers at Partners in Design. I will update the last two links after they are posted.

Thanks for this. It will be very useful. Can’t wait to start.
This is a fun idea, thanks for sharing! I’ve made similar aprons in the past, but they were a bit more complicated. This one looks fast and easy!
Thanks Kathleen! Looks like a fun and easy pattern!
Thank you, this may make my life so much easier and tidier…
This is great! Thanks for the pattern!
Love this! I made myself a utility apron last year that I use at work sometimes. For non-work stuff, I think I’ll like yours better, as it’s a big smaller. Looking forward to making this!
That’s so cool for SO many kinds of work. Thank you!
That is soooooooooooooooo clever and they are adorable. Hope you have a Merry Christmas!!
