I will finish a baby quilt before the end of the month. It will be this one that I have had the fabric stashed for a year or two – sent by a friend who thought I didn’t have enough scraps. This will be my one monthly goal!

I am participating in this, posting on January 20th. I was contacted by LoveCrafts and they are sending me a group of fat quarters AND Pantone has named Classic Blue (19-4052) as the color of the year. I think this is all quite fortuitous.
I love the this view! I was first in line with my car to arrive on the island. Seeing the gate and the sign always marks the end of what seems to bring a parasympathetic response to me every time I am on the ferry. It never gets old
I had a Prostitcher (computerized system) installed on Tabitha, my HQ Simply Sixteen and I am thrilled. I did 2 little row by row table runners that had been sequestered for such a long time. I know they both may get a bit wider, but I was so anxious to start quilting. I tried two motifs and am really happy. Both are HQ designs (Star EtoE & Fluffy Clouds).

Oh, Prostitcher sounds like a lot of fun. That would be a deep rabbit hole to fall down, may never come out to get anything else done.
Oh, it sure it. I am a geek of sorts and love learning and having control of the machine through a computer. The speed and accuracy of the machine is marvelous too. It is a deep rabbit hole but it is perfect for me and my time on the island!
I do think the blues was quite fortuitous, also! I love vocabulary, along with quilting! Plus, it was great to see the Ferry video. Looking forward to seeing your Winter Blues blog hop post. Maybe I’ll join another one of her blog hops down the road. They are fun and makes me finish my project.
I am so pleased about that little blues stack of fabric coming my way and so glad you enjoyed the video! Do join in on one that strikes your fancy…they are always fun.
Hi Kathleen! That sounds like a wonderful addition to Tabitha – I love the look of the fluffy clouds quilting design. I also greatly enjoyed the short video of you arriving at Peaks Island! ~smile~ Roseanne
It is a marvel. I am dying to load up a quilt and try some area quilting, but I may resort to a generic pantograph, we will see. I don’t take the car over every time, but love to be in the front spot when I do
The Prostitcher sounds like great fun!
I am catching up after a lost week! The good news is I love the prostitcher. I love doing my own quilting but there are many things that don’t require the energy of my attention and work. Also, I plan to understand how to customize what I want. I don’t think doing borders is so hard, but so many people never do it on a computerized system; you really need to have your own to learn to do it and that’s my plan!
Such fun fabrics for the baby quilt. Sent by a friend that thought you didn’t have enough scraps. Snort! I love it! About the Pantone color of the year: my husband has been lobbying for a blue car for quite some time and I have resisted. As soon as Classic Blue was released, he was sure to point it out to me. I do love the color–in a quilt, though.
I know….a friend! Blue has always been a favorite color for me; I had a blue plymouth horizon and toyota rav 4! Its not for everyone, but red is also a favorite car color for me, although less so for my husband. Good luck in reaching consensus on the car color!
Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and good luck with your project.
Its been a good prompt and I am already working on it!
Looking forward to your Winter Blues project. I am also participating in that blog hop. Yes, Pantone has chosen Classic Blue for 2020. ‘Already planning a quilt for that also.
Thank you. I too am looking forward to getting those blues in the house and coming up with something fun.
