I just love the way this is working out! The dark teal and dark grey are just so much fun in this block. The blocks went together really well, except for my own stupidity.

Hint 2: Pay attention to the direction of the geese.
I had mine all laid out nicely and sewed them in groups going the wrong direction! Fortunately it was only 2 of the seams and not all four, but it felt like it. It seemed that was the way the day would go…bad news all around.

However, in the end I have these 4 great blocks.

Those blocks really are lovely!
Thanks, Pamela! Sherry did a great job designing this!
These are so pretty, and I really love your choice of fabrics.
Thanks, Sandra. I love the fabric, too! I may add some I haven’t used in the center block next month – or on the borders.
Love these blocks, Kathleen. The combination of dark red and dark grey works beautifully with light aqua and pale peach. When things go wrong, as they do from time to time, I take a short break and attend to chores, dishes or cooking. A change of scene always works for me 🙂
You are so right Preeti about changing directions for awhile. I did that and it worked great. The colors are so fun in this, I only wish that one pink stood out a bit more but all in all I am loving it!
I highly approve of your colors/fabrics, so pretty in these blocks;)
It is a great combination isn’t it!
What a great block and love the colors. Can’t wait to see this one when it’s finished.
Denise, this is a fun quilt to make. Lots of the fabrics are from Gingber Farm Fresh – I think.
Great choice of color/fabric placement on this!
Thanks, I am loving the colors!
