On August 8th, you will see the quilt I made using this Island Batik collection, Enchanted Forest. This fabric line really spoke to me as did the quilt. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out if I could do it and I did. I hope you like it, but you have to wait until Thursday, August 8th. Meanwhile, here is a link to all the bloggers – there are giveaways from Island Batik!! and many of the ambassadors. Have a blast. Good luck and I hope you win some lovely batiks!

I’ll declare my OMG for August….and it will be finishing my quilt in the Freedom Collection from Island Batik. I am not sure when these quilts can be shown, but I will let you know.

I am participating in Sherry Shish’s BOM which launches on Wednesday. There is a newsletter (you can sign up on her blog) and a facebook group. There is an option for a smaller piece but why not go for the large one, I am…. You can buy the pattern here*. There are options for a smaller quilt, information to follow in her groups – come on it will be fun!!!

Today, I am ordering my new Quilter’s Planner. I missed it last year – it was too big for my needs. I am so excited to order the 3 hole punched version with graph paper… I need it more for planning and less for a calendar. Join me by ordering one here* and getting ready for the new year!
