Blue Bayou and OMG

IMG_5599.jpegI am so glad I hopped on board with Patterns by Jen’s 2019 Color Challenge.  I am enjoying these so much I already started playing with the images in Electric Quilt 8*.   I am also doing some beta testing for them, and really enjoy seeing some of the fixes and the enhancements.  It is funny how much I rely on this tool now with my quilting.

This is my OMG…. I missed officially setting the goal last month but 3 of my quilts were done…not bad. This flying geese top needs the borders and quilting. It is happening!! It started with a batik group I won a few years back on an instagram giveaway. It started me down the giveaway hole and I have done well with it. Not sure of its destination, but I kind of think I would like it on one of our beds in the winter.

And, because I enjoyed Christine Camelli’s class so much, I signed up for Bluprint*. I am an affiliate but I too pay for the service. I finally decided there were a few classes I really wanted to see, and this gave you an opportunity to own a few, so I did. If you are in the mood to survive March, this may be a good way.

Hi Kathleen! Oooh, ooh, ooh! I love the fabrics in your March block. They look so great together, as do the flying geese. Isn’t it just satisfying to have your block finished already for the month, and then to be closing in on another finish. Yay you! Happy Friday to you! ~smile~ Roseanne

I fell in love with that batik with the scroll – just luscious. The grey goose needs to be heading north, so I have to decide on size and just do it!!!

Love your flying geese top – very nice. You did well to finish off three quilts this month 🙂
