All wonderful posts. I especially enjoyed your Facing a Quilt post. That is a very modern, minimal method that I tried and love.

Thanks, Danice. A lo of people enjoyed that post and it is a great method that I am using more often with my smaller quilts/hangings.

You had a good year of some fun posts, Kathleen! I’m still dazzled by SuperNova. Of course, I really found the facing tutorial helpful too.

Thank you, Wendy. It has been a fun year and much more productive than I realized until I started counting things up. Good progress and more to come.

It was a great year, and I am mildly amused by all the things I did! I love SuperNova too – really need to write this pattern!

So who got Rescued Grandmother’s Quilt? Did it go on raffle? I am so hoping to stumble onto a quilt top that needs to be finished.

You reminded me I should post that – it went to our Church – which was how I got the top. The high bidder was our rector, which really pleased me. Hope you do find one some day. It was fun to figure out.

Kathleen, the thumbnail on your Super Nova Island Batik challenge REALLY sucked me in. The quilt is beautiful!

They were all fun projects and it was great to look back on what I loved and others loved this year! It is always fun to link up to these parties.

I’d love to say… you wrapped up the year with 5 fabulous finishes in a nut shell, but they are acorns, and I can’t think of anything witty to say about acorns! I’m sure there is a squirrel out there who is laughing at me right how. Great top 5…although every post of yours is tops in my book. Have as fabulous 2019 as 2018 was for you!

Thank you so much! Acorns don’t inspire a lot of jokes, but squirrels….well maybe they do. Hope your 2019 is a productive and creative year for you!
