I love this party that Cheryl at Meadow Mist Designs host each year. It is pretty simple. You get to pick the categories and entries that work for you. Here are my choice for best of 2018.

All wonderful posts. I especially enjoyed your Facing a Quilt post. That is a very modern, minimal method that I tried and love.
Thanks, Danice. A lo of people enjoyed that post and it is a great method that I am using more often with my smaller quilts/hangings.
You had a good year of some fun posts, Kathleen! I’m still dazzled by SuperNova. Of course, I really found the facing tutorial helpful too.
Thank you, Wendy. It has been a fun year and much more productive than I realized until I started counting things up. Good progress and more to come.
Kathleen you had a fabulous years. I’m with Wendy the SuperNova is a beauty.
It was a great year, and I am mildly amused by all the things I did! I love SuperNova too – really need to write this pattern!
So who got Rescued Grandmother’s Quilt? Did it go on raffle? I am so hoping to stumble onto a quilt top that needs to be finished.
You reminded me I should post that – it went to our Church – which was how I got the top. The high bidder was our rector, which really pleased me. Hope you do find one some day. It was fun to figure out.
I really love the variety in categories for you this year, Kathleen! Great posts to remember. 🙂
Hi Kathleen! Wowee – 2700 post views! Yowza! I have to agree with you on your favorite quilt, the Super Nova. So very pretty and well done. ~smile~ Roseanne
Thanks, Roseanne. I am really thinking I’ll make a pattern. People do love it….as do I.
Kathleen, the thumbnail on your Super Nova Island Batik challenge REALLY sucked me in. The quilt is beautiful!
Thank you! I love how much people are loving that quilt. I am thinking of a pattern…February will be the right time to make it – I hope.
Great posts to highlight! I love the quilts and the block you made is awesome! Thanks for linking up!
They were all fun projects and it was great to look back on what I loved and others loved this year! It is always fun to link up to these parties.
I’d love to say… you wrapped up the year with 5 fabulous finishes in a nut shell, but they are acorns, and I can’t think of anything witty to say about acorns! I’m sure there is a squirrel out there who is laughing at me right how. Great top 5…although every post of yours is tops in my book. Have as fabulous 2019 as 2018 was for you!
Thank you so much! Acorns don’t inspire a lot of jokes, but squirrels….well maybe they do. Hope your 2019 is a productive and creative year for you!
Great roundup of fabulous posts! Thanks for sharing on Wednesday Wait Loss.
